Kid Who Give Contest

SERVICE-ORIENTED YOUTH INVITED TO ENTER ‘KIDS WHO GIVE’ CONTEST BY MAY 31

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA. (May 4, 2011) – Kids who are doing good and giving back to their communities have until May 31 to enter the 2011 Kids Who Give contest at www.kidswhogive.com for a chance to share their story and win up to $2,500 for their chosen charity and a trip to New York City.

The contest honors young people committed to giving back and is in its second year.  Al Roker of NBC’s “Today”   show and Deborah Roberts of ABC News have joined the program as Honorary Chairs for 2011.

Kids Who Give is open to youth, ages 7 to 17, who live in the U.S.  Entries will be accepted until May 31, 2011, with the winners announced in August. Three winners in each age-based category – 7-10, 11-13 and 14-17 – plus a Fan Favorite winner voted on by America, will each receive a donation of up to $2,500 to the charity of their choice, a personal gift card and a special Farm Rich prize package. Additionally, one grand prize winner in each category will also receive an all-expense-paid trip to New York City this fall for the 2011 Kids Who Give Awards Dinner.
