My son likes to watch Diego like most almost 3 year old kids. Well there is one particular episode we have a problem with and I think should be taken off the air. It is the one when Diego is saving the anaconda.
Most of the animals our children see on there are not at too much of a risk coming across, but snakes are one that can be found every where. We live in the south so it's nothing to walk out in our yard find a Rattlesnake, Cottonmouth or Copperhead.
No small child knows the difference between poisonous or non-poisonous snakes. I hate to sound like a total pain, but let face it our children are more likely to come across a snake than other animals on the show. What do you expect them to think when they see one of there favorite characters holding a snake. Diego can! I can too.
I turn off that episode each time. I hate to scare my son to death over snakes, but it is more safe to say to him all snakes are dangous and run away. Just wanted to see what others had to say?
