With text, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, and other tech conveniences, we hardly take the time to write handwritten notes anymore. Still, that’s what makes it even more special when we receive a handwritten note from a loved one.

    I never packed my lunch when I was in school but once we went on a field trip to the zoo and my mom slipped a sweet note into it for me with one of her trademark smiley faces on it. I really wish I would have kept it.
