All our summer plans have been flipped upside down. We had a lot of trips planned this summer and so far we had to do some on the way back from the doctors office. Between me taking care of my mom, lung surgery, driving, and starting chemo. Then my husband has to take his mom to the doctor with her failing kidneys & dialysis. I feel like we are living at the hospital and doctors office.
So far we've only got to go fishing once as a family, but we did hit Chuck E Cheese twice. We broke free to go to the beach this week. We built sandcastles, swim, and had some fun. Only for a day but, we all needed a break from everything for a little while.

Even one day at the beach can be soothing. It looks like you had a good time, and I pray that good health angels surround your family so you get many more beach days soon.
