Took the kids for a long due fishing trip. A new fisherman was in the water paroling the pond. While we did catch fish, I was on guard with the kids. The gator stayed away from us. Kind of funny two of the Swamp People ( Joe & Tommy ) was in town signing autographs.

That would scare me. We'd end up packing up and going somewhere else lol.
After watching all those gator shows like Gator Boys and Swamp People, I feel like I could handle that gator, LOL!
No really, I'd be so scared! But I think they're more scared of you so there's not much to worry about. Just don't fall in!

OMG. I would have been both excited and scared. That's ironic that y'all saw him while the Swamp People cast were in town. I miss fishing so much. Thank you for this post.

HOLY COW! I guess you must be used to that. Certainly not anything we've ever experienced while fishing in our favorite fishing holes in Illinois, lol. My kids would have loved that!
I don't know if I could go fishing there. It would scare the heck out of me knowing there is gators in the water. You are much braver then I am.
That gator is too close for my liking, I would get in the car, close the door and wait for the husband to return. I am a big chicken.

A gator snuck up and scared me as a kid and to this day i get freaked out when i see gators (even the fake head sold in kitschy tourist stores). Brave guy!
love the kids caught some fish...cute pics! I think I would of been long gone!
