Sweepstakes Wild Adventures Theme Park Prize Pack

Park Mascots
Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia invited my family for a visit. Links you find in my posts will take you to their site for further information. We experienced a family memory heritage file. When I say that, I mean my kids will share these memories with their kids and keep this event in their hearts, not forgetting the experience and continue to visit for years to come. I know it will be an extra special memory for my youngest son, we shared his 4th birthday at Wild Adventures

I suggest you visit their sites to see all the rides and attractions available, there are just to many to mention in one post. Wild Adventures is 170 acres, South Georgia's largest family attraction with concerts, 40 thrill rides, including seven coasters, water park, animals all in one place. Famous performances included Alan Jackson, Josh Turner, and upcoming ones from Sawyer Brown and Skillet. Check listings because artists are added through out the year.

First, I must address about the staff at Wild Adventures "Friendly, Kindness, Helpful, and Professional Behavior." It's nice to be greeted at rides with smiling friendly attendants. Walking in to the gate we meet some of the wild life a snake, ferret, and an iguana. We started rides in the kiddie area of the park riding the merry go round, dizzy dragons, train, bees, bumper cars, and more.

Tasmania River Rapids
We took a break and purchased some souvenir glasses with cold drinks, it was hot in the 90's. Making our way around to the gates of paradise, Splash Island Water Park. This is the point where the choir would sing Hallelujah :) We were so hot, the kids threw their shoes off and was heading in the water, my 4yr was stopped and given a life jacket. I had to go in with my clothes on to keep up, the other two boys were on the float. While we enjoyed the water rides my mom relaxed in the shade on the lounge chairs.
Wahee Cyclone

My oldest son surprised me when he rode the Wahee Cyclone.... Um, I'm not to scared to ride but, I was a little apprehensive. Down at the bottom they were ready to go up again, told no I'm not carrying that big tube back up. It was really heavy, it would be so much more enjoyable if a conveyor belt carried the tubes to the top. This was the only thing at the park I didn't like, carrying the heavy 4 person tube. The ride was fun. The water park was so much fun, we enjoyed so many rides and just floating along Paradise River.
Paradise River, Kona Cliffs, Hakini Rapids, Catchawave Bay, Bonazi Pipelines, Kalani Blasters

Mid evening had arrived and everyone was ready to have a break and a picnic. We decided the we would visit the animals, watch shows and take a ride on the train. First we walked the Alapaha Trail checking out the animals and this where my baby's feet where giving out, he fell. Skinning his elbow and knee a little, a staff member name Vickie came to check on him and talked to him, he didn't shed a tear. Told her about the owl he was looking at. She was really sweet and I took notice of the little extra attention she gave. We continued on our walk through the animals seeing monkey, birds, gators, including albino gators, bears, deer, and ended at the bird exhibit.

We loved the bird exhibit we got to feed the birds and they landed on us. This was so amazing for the kids and us adults thought it was pretty cool too. I bet we spend 40 mins in there. We headed on to catch the dog show and when it ended the Wacky Wild West Show was beginning. The performers did an excellent job, the little ones where really into watching their act, us too. At the end of the show the actress announced the sheriff's birthday and I point to my son and she got his name. Everyone sang Happy Birthday, truly the icing on the birthday cake. Even better to get pictures afterwards!! While walking a way my son kept looking back at those nice ladies. (Big thank you & great show)
Heading to the train we came across a pet zoo with chicks, goats, cows, ducks, bunny rabbits, and a turkey. Next we took a ride on the train to get a guided tour of the animals. Seeing Zebras, Rhino, Elephants, Giraffes, Flamingo, and so many more.

Throughout the park safety and cleanliness is number #1. The water park has many diligent life guards and life jackets. Checking size requirements through out the park by staff. Germ-X on the way out animal exhibits and in the bathrooms. The park is beautiful landscaped and friendly habitat for the animals. Wild Adventures animals are beautiful and look so content in their environment. Refreshment stands and shopping locations are located all around the park. The ultimate family experience is waiting for you at Wild Adventures. Check out this little photo video I made on you tube to see more pictures from our wonderful day. We are planning to go back before school starts!!! My friend and her son, who attended the park with us was amazed and planning to go back too.

Keep watching Wild Adventures calendar for Summer Events, Halloween and Christmas dates and times. If your a Zombie fan your in luck, October is your time to get a night thrill at Wild Adventures. Fun and happy pumpkin fun during the day but, get the kiddies out before dark. I've heard adults can barely stand it. Did you know the movie Zombieland was filmed at Wild Adventures Theme Park.

I am a real animal lover, so I look forward to seeing happy, contented, animals in a friendly environment! Also, I can't get enough of petting zoos - a big attraction for me that turns me into a kid again. :)
