Huggies Bunnies

These baby bunnies are growing and they love the Huggies box. We cut a hole in the side and they run in to hide. We are not holding them and letting them be wild so we can turn them loose. They are starting to eat grass, soon we will say good bye bunnies.

Our DIY Milk Jug Bunny

We tried two different milk jug bunnies. One with tissue paper and glue and one with blue spray paint. Rub glue all over and cover with the tissue paper, then blow dry. The Blue spray paint is the way to go "Faster".
We used the glitter hearts for noses & heart tissue paper for the center of the ears, left over from Valentine crafts. You can used cloth or construction paper too.

Googly eyes, one pipe cleaner cut in half on each bunny, construction paper mouth and teeth. Hot glue on and your done, only takes about 10 mins with spray paint bunny. Longer it you use the tissue paper bunny.

Baby Bunny Update

So if your wondering about the baby bunnies. The mom came back and sit waiting and watching, then I noticed she was gone. What I found was a oak snake killing the baby bunnies, trying to swallow one. I got a hoe and got it out of the nest, it ran under the barn. There was one dead baby, and 3 little cold, barely alive bunnies.

We gathered the bunnies placing them in a baby wipe box with cloth in it. We sit the box on a heating pad, in no time they were warm wiggling and hungry. We learn to feed them kitten milk replacement. So we are bottle feeding baby bunnies this Easter. This morning they are feeding great, sweet, warm and cozy.

Baby Bunnies, Come Back Mama

So has it my dog found a nest of bunnies in our yard. He was pulling them out probably to make a meal or a nice squealing toy. We grab them, locked him up, and pictured the babies and placed them back in their nest. Now just hoping mama will come back to them.

Bunny Bags, Bunny Basket, Bunny Ears, Bunny Hops

We are officially out on spring break but, first we had a big Easter hunt at school. We made the cutest bunny bag treat we saw on pinterest. My youngest want were-rabbits so he black teeth on some :) draw smiles, teeth, and tongues out I thought the little treat bags were cute. So easy to make. We filled with eggs and candy. White paper bag purchased at walmart, white paper and pink construction paper. Black marker, glue stick, and staple gun. I want to make some with cute fabric for the ears instead of the pink construction paper.

Their class made bunny milk jug baskets and bunny ears.

DIY Simple Spoon Butterflies

We made some cute spoon butterflies this last weekend. Paper plate cut out, we added tissue paper. Some eyes, foam hearts from valentines, pipe cleaner antenna, craft jewels, glue stick and hot glue. They needed a quick, fast, & easy craft before dinner. The kids were so tickled with their project.
