If you have ever spent a significant amount of time looking at small print in a book, or counting stitches in a piece of needlework, you know the strain it can have on your eyes. The Heritage Natural Spectrum Desk Lamp was designed in response to that eye strain.

This special lamp uses an optix lens to diffuse light to reduce glare, eyestrain, and fatigue. Such a special lamp deserves to look special also, so it comes in an antique brushed nickel, with a head that can swivel 350 degrees. The height is adjustable between 11.5" and 17.5", allowing you to easily adapt it for your own purposes.

I may need a lamp like this one for nights at my desk sewing or working on posts. I have a floor lamp but, can't direct the light in the direction I need. We have to have floor lamps plugged in the living room cause it does not have ceiling lights.

    I sometimes have to edit and proofread long documents in a short period of time.... this would really be helpful to reduce eyestrain

    I could really use it to read, I only have a clip light by my bed and I can never get it just right and I end up with eye strain too fast.
