I didn't even know they had an optical center at JCPenny. My 5 year old is due for an eye appointment, we will have to check out the options. BTW- This little guy looks cute in his new glasses.

 As promised, here's the JCPenny Back to School Eyeglass Giveaway. One lucky reader the chance to win a $30.00 JCPenny Gift Card so you can get your child's pair of glasses in the JCPenny back to school eyeglass giveaway!

And don't worry if your child doesn't wear or need glasses
you can use the JCPenny $30 Giftcard in any part of the store.
This giveaway is open to US residents 18 year and older. The giveaway ends on 8/11/14 at 11:59 pm. A winner will be randomly chosen, once the winning entry has been verified, an email notification will be sent to the winner from My Best of Both Worlds. The winner will have 24 hours in which to respond to the email to claim their prize. If there is no response within the 24 hours another winner will be randomly selected then verified.

The prize will be sent via US postal mail. By entering this giveaway, you release participating blogs and their owners from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the giveaway or delivery, mis-delivery or acceptance of any prize.

  5. Luckily none of my kids ended up like their mom and do not have to wear glasses. They have their annual eye exams in October

  17. Not yet, but Nate has been complaining lately of not being able to see perfectly clearly when playing sports, so we're going to take him for his first eye exam this month.

  24. I try to get my older children's vision checked once a year. My daughter wear glasses and my son was border line earlier this year. My own vision changed around 13. I usually get mine checked every two to three years, depends on when I need new glasses.

  30. Other than vision screenings at the physician's office and one done at school by the local Lion's Club, my daughter hasn't had an actual vision screening/eye exam. She doesn't wear glasses.
