You know sometimes it takes couples years to have children. The first few years it was ok and as time went on all my friends and family had babies. After 6 to 7 years my husband and I was considering talking to specialist. I had my own health issues during this time PCOS, shingles, weight up & down, and breast reduction. We talked about it and decided when I turned 27 we would go to a specialist. I knew how bad he wanted a family with children, so I felt like I was depriving him of his dreams. He said we had each other and our dog, not to worry.
So after the breast reduction, I felt so much better. I was running around exercising, eating a strict diet, and even went to a dietary doctor who gave me medication too help. I lost like 35 pounds, we was fishing on the river every time my husband was off work. He would be trying to sleep and I'd wake him up ready to fish like 4:30 am in the morning. I love watching the sun come up on the water. I was totally at peace.
It was June in the boat and my husband told me my hips was spreading. I got mad, so your calling me fat after I just lost all this weight? He was like I think your pregnant. He had me get a test, the next morning he was getting ready for work and asked if I was going to take the test. I took it and went back to bed, told him to check it. I knew there was no use to check it. WRONG- He came running in going crazy, I thought he was playing a joke.
That seems like a dream. Now, I have two beautiful little boys and each day with a hug, smile, and kiss, I treasure the days of being mom.
