Rock Star was a super cute cartoon. Who would think a bunch of worms could be so entertaining and fun. Exactly what all the other insects thought in this movie. Always being put down for being worms, one worm (Barry) decided he is not just going with the worms regular job making compost. After discovering a disco record in his dad's box of old items, he gets the boogie fever.

He puts together a group of worms and gets a little help from a management worm and they begin to work together and sound in key. They are steady sabotaged by a beetle who wants fame & fortune for himself. They must also keep safe from the fisherman's hook.

Rock Star was a really cute cartoon, my five year and I enjoyed watching it together. Nice video quality and a good story line. Featuring the voice of Glee’s Jane Lynch.

My Friend Bernard caught my 3 year old's eye and he was so quiet watching it. So scared the boy name Same loses his stuff animal to a dog. Sam is quite scared of everything. He gets the chance to travels to new adventures in a teacup thanks to a magical necklace. Sam meets Bernard, a Polar Bear who isn’t afraid of anything. Bernard helps Sam lose his fears.

Hurry and get to a Redboxes today August 31 is the last day to rent there. The movies will be available in Walmart to purchase.

Do you rename your kids food?

Our little picky eater will eat gross sounding things. My 3yr son will eat eggs when we call them witch eggs. My son will eat Asparagus called "bull frog legs." Like green beans, when we call them frog legs. Anything gross sounding or looks gross he likes, we name all the food different names. It's a special treat for him if I mix green coloring in to food to look like slim or red food coloring in it for blood.

I know the they'll eat when they are ready but, I like family meals at the table. I remember that in order to get me to eat peas my mom called them wolves and I would eat them. Do you rename your food to get the little ones to eat?

First Tooth Lost & National Tooth Fairy Day

Today is National Tooth Fairy Day! How perfect is it that my son lost his first tooth yesterday? The little bottom front right one, he was all smiles. I told him the Tooth fairy would be extra happy cause she would be making rounds on her holiday during the night.

Hoover Twin Tank Steam Mop

Floors catches messes, germs, bacteria like "MRSA, Salmonella, Staph" and thats why I was so happy to try the Hoover Twin Tank Steam Mop. I trust Hoover product for my floor care, already having a Hoover SteamVac with Spin Brush for my carpets, I know Hoover makes quality products and I wanted to put their power to work in my kitchen as well. A mom with two little boys, you know a mess is going to happen. My boys are indepentant and love to help in the kitchen and I know with the Hoover Steam Mop messes are no problem and I'm keeping my family safe. Mom has a secret cleaning weapon against germs!!

The Hoover Twin Tank Steam Mop is so easy to use! Add the micro fiber pads, filling both removable water tank and solution tank your on your way to clean and disinfect floors. One thing you may be wondering when fill solution tanks, the little tube does not have to be submerged in the water. Once turned on the steam mop takes 30 second to produce steam and that's faster than boiling water:) If you just want steam leave out the solution and this can be done by adjust the solution control dial on the front. To adjust the stream of solution when pulling the trigger set the dial on the front. The head moves with the turn of the handle, it maneuvers very well. Pushing back in lock position to stand straight up on it's own.

The thing I enjoy about the Hoover Twin Tank Steam Mop is the speed of using it and the easy clean up after using it. The micro pad are easy to attached and un-attach, when finished cleaning just step on the expose pad and pull free and toss in to the washing machine. This steam mop can clean multiple hard surfaces and refresh your carpet too. Cooling tray provided to set mop on while cooling and in storage.

Heelys Wheel Skate Shoe Giveaway & Review

Days before school stating we were debating what style of shoe my son would wear. He loves light up shoes, the color blue, and they had to have adjustable straps on top. Would you believe it, Heelys have just that shoe. Except these shoes have a double fun factor, they have wheels, well 2 wheels to be exact.

The shoe of my sons dreams is the Heelys X2 Bolt style, the bolts light up. They are trimmed in blue, black, silver, white. To tell the truth at his age of 5 years old I was scared of just one wheel skate but, thought he could balance better with the second skate. He is still catching the hang of them, but loves'em to pieces and shows them to everyone. He thought he could slide them on and skate like a pro but, has realized it takes practice and balance.

Noted: Each HX2 shoe has two removable wheels for better balance and control, making it an ideal choice for less experienced skaters. In addition, the HX2 models do not require as much leg strength, which allows younger users to lift their toes more easily and skate more comfortably. Like one-wheeled Heelys, the wheels in the HX2 models are completely removable. After wearers become more accustomed to skating, HX2 models can be converted into a regular pair of Heelys by removing one of the wheels. Pop out both wheels and the HX2 becomes a regular street shoe.

On the first day of school, he did not have the skates on them, we popped the wheel loose and add the heel plug. At the end of the school day when it's time to play we use the provided plug removal tool and exchange the plug and fit the skate wheels in to the bracket.

1st Day of Kindergarten

I walked out of Kindergarten today holding only one little hand, the oldest stayed with my heart. I felt a heavy feeling walking out. He was like a fish in water, so happy:) I can't wait to find out how his day went.

Little brother needed a backpack and shirt just like his big brother. He is taking a nap as I type:0

The school traffic was out of control, there is only parking lot spaces for 1/4th of the kids that go there. Can't wait to see wait pickup looks like :(

Update: It was a great day at school for him, traffic was beyond horrible, and we are rolling with the flow.

Weekend Kindergarten, Fishing, Worms

I can't believe how nervous I feel. We go to meet my son's kindergarten teacher today. He was up at 6:00 this morning excited and we got some last minute errands to run. Today is also mom's long chemo treatment as well.

Yesterday, we got in a family fishing trip in the boat, the boys do better in the boat than on land fishing. Well it rained on us so we had to jump in the truck until the storm passed. We went back fishing and there was a very little mist of rain. We caught a few and my husband lost a big fish, which he said was my fault:)

I love to hear my son fishing, he says he's and expert fisherman, he's gonna caught his nanna a fish. The little one did great and kept wanting to play with the worms.

Phase 4 Films Smitty, Freddy Frogface, & DonkeyX

We got three movies from Phase 4 Films for the month of July, "yesterday." We began watching last night and again this morning. All three films can be found at Redbox locations, Walmart, Target, & Amazon.com.

Smitty- I really enjoyed Smitty, a good life lesson movie about learning from mistakes, family,true heart & soul healthy movie. A kid that finds his way into trouble gets sent to live with his grandpa that has not been a part of his life for 13 years. Self centered until a little dog teaches him a lesson about love. My children would watch it here and there but, a little to mature for their ages of 3 & 5. Like I said, "I really enjoyed it."

CAST: Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, Mimic), Peter Fonda (Easy Rider, 3:10 to Yuma, Ghost Rider), Louis Gossett Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman, Why Did I Get Married Too?), Jason London (Dazed and Confused, Out Cold)

DonkeyX- A little donkey seeking acceptance from Nobel Steeds and a knight competing in a jousting tournament compete showing everyone their strengthens and team work. This one kept losing the kids, it didn't really hold their attention. The story line seems a little too complicated & strong worded for my 3 & 5 year old.

Freddy Frogface- Victor and his dog "Sausage" are having to deal with a bully, Freddy Frog Face. It's really gross how he got that nickname. Trying to get to the circus for a chance to perform in a talent show with sausage, Victor and his friend have to be clever and dress up. Victor likes to trick Freddy too, but who will win in the end?
