Feed Your Hunger Giveaway Books & DVD

Have you seen hunger games? Without ever reading the book I saw it advertise and thought there would be something to add to the list for my husband to watch. Now I think I'm going to watch it too, since I've heard how good it was.

Mom Powered Media, connecting with bloggers the super mom way!

Hunger Games Synopsis
Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, the Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains.

Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen volunteers in her younger sister’s place to enter the games, and is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy when she’s pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives. If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

Big thank you to Mom Powered Media owners: Mom to Bed by 8, Powered By Mom and Real Mom Reviews for organizing this exciting, entertainment event.

I have read all the Hunger Game books and saw the movie. I thought the books were great, and the movie was okay. My girls would LOVE to have the movie on DVD, though, and the books would be a perfect addition to my classroom library.

I listened to the audiobook of all three books that I was able to check out from the library. Carolyn McCormick did an awesome job as the narrator. I haven't seen the movie yet.

I read and LOVED all of the Hunger Games books! If I win, this set would go to one of my daughters. My son and I also read the first book as a read-together, and then went to see the movie. The movie was surprisingly true to the book, for the most part, so I give it a definite thumbs up!
