I personally spent my hours reading Nancy Drew when I was in school, I loved them. My household spends a lot of time reading, I encourage my kids to read. It's one of the most important tools we can give our kids.
My dad could not read, he pushed me to read, and he wanted to so he started reading classes at around 35 year old. He can read some now and he loves it.

Nancy Drew had a HUGE impact on my life. Strong and independent, Nancy always had more courage than I felt-- just about ever. She got me through a lot of tough times as a pre-teen.
