Life is like a sandcastle something beautiful here for awhile & then gone, but the impression it makes on others can last forever.

Paper Mache Volcano

We made a Paper Mache Volcano this week. First we mix flour, water, glue for paste. Then we built up card board ramp on 4 sides of the a tin can. We added the paper mache strips filling it in all around about 4 to 5 layers.  After a day of drying we painted it, let dry again. That afternoon we let it erupt. Using 3 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons dish liquid, and 5 drops red food coloring add to volcano. Last 1/2 cup vinegar my son poured it in.
