Headline Shirts Review & Giveaway

Headline Shirts are a little out of the usual in graphics and that what makes them stand out. Not a boring t-shirt, one that makes people ask you where can I get a shirt like that one. 

I really loved the Da Vinci Rock Man shirt and like that it's available in adult female and male sizes, as well as kids. That's the one that sung to me for my oldest son, he is always pretending to be a rock star. 

These VintageBlend shirts features a nice heather black & white image on the front. My son wears a size 5, so we got a size 6. Just consider going up a size when buying cause it is made to shrink 10% in the dryer. Air dying is recommend for the super-soft poly/cotton blend.

Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, kicks off its newest outreach initiative, Little Children, Big Challenges, for military, veteran, and general public families with young children. This initiative aims to provide the skills and strategies young children need to build resilience and persevere through day-to-day as well as more serious changes and transitions. Early childhood has been emphasized as a crucial time for promoting resilience, as it can lead to a significant impact on children’s well-being and future success in all areas of life.[1],[2] Little Children, Big Challenges will kick off with a new anthem, What We Are, which will be performed live on the Intrepid (Saturday, May 26th) by the Quantico Marine Corps Band with Sesame Street’s Gordon, Elmo and Rosita, and the host of Lifetime’s Coming Home, Matt Rogers.

Sesame Workshop is committed to providing free multimedia resources to all families raising preschoolers and these kits will be distributed through partnerships with Military OneSource, the Military Child Education Coalition and the USO. Additionally, Sesame Workshop will distribute to general public families through partnerships with parenting, child-care, health, and education programs, social work organizations, counselors and psychologists, and bullying prevention organizations.


The What We Are anthem will be available on Sesame Street’s website for military families, as well as Sesame Street’s YouTube Channel. In addition, new online resources for Little Children, Big Challenges will feature the anthem along with new interactive tools for children and families. Finally, in conjunction with this event, major updates to Sesame’s Feel Electric! mobile app, a free resilience tool for school-aged children, will be available on May 26, 2012 for Apple iPod, iPhone and Android devices.

Not a day goes by that Tristan and Alyssa Bomarito don’t miss their father Sgt. Mark Bomarito. To Tristan, Mark is not just Dad, he's his best friend. The Great Outdoors

Tooth Losing Age

We not only have one loose tooth, we have 4 loose teeth. He's about 5 yrs 2 1/2 months old, around the age frame my friend told me he would lose his first tooth. He had us checking for about two months and tonight we were laying in the bed talking and I said let me check your teeth. The bottom front right is very loose, then the next bottom left front is loose. The top front two are a little loose. It got me thinking about that song  "All I want for Christmas is My 2 Front Teeth."

Immediately he had to tell his nanna. She said it made her so happy for him to tell her that special news and then he wanted to call around to announce it. I told him you will have to in the morning now go to bed. I'm pretty excited for him. We are at the Tooth Losing Age, I'll have to see the tooth fairy rates:)

News & Updates

Friday was very exciting, my son sung a song at the PreK program and got a completion certificate. My mom had her lung cancer surgery and spent the night in ICU. I couldn't be with her, the doctor told me with us having the stomach thing not to come to visit until we are completely over it. My mom told me to go record her grand baby's performance so she can see it.

The day before surgery we did visit mom, everyone wore face masks and stayed outside. No touching I told the kids, first thing the baby did was hung her leg and pucker his lips out for a big kiss. I wish I had a picture.

My son did great singing and stood there so proud smiling at me. After the performance the school had rented water slides for the children to play on and all the kids had a blast. When it was time to go home, I was telling my son it's official now your a Kindergartner!! My phone rang, I pulled the car over and got out to talk to the Surgeon.

The Surgeon said my mom did excellent. He explained to me about the cancer he removed and said if it had got any bigger he would have had to remove a rib to get it out. You know I loved her doctor, he took care of my mom, he had the best personality and was easy to talk to. I have to say my mom got some of the best doctors and caring nurses.

I had one of the best Mother's Day this weekend just by hugging my kids and being able to talk to my mom on the phone.
