Police Force Pursuit Blok Squad @MegaBloks

I have to say I'm amazed that so many small little pieces can come together into a Blok Squad. My husband and two boys set with such patience working on the Mega Bloks Police Force Pursuit Blok Squad. All though it's recommend for children 5 and up, my boys and husbands did it together and had some male bonding time. I think I saw my husband turn into a child for a brief moment.

After a little time the piece do come together to make Police Cruiser SUV & the Boat. The boat was the boys favorite. They are saving the Patrol truck for another day to build together.

What little boy wouldn't like the Fire Patrol Station, Police Force Pursuit, or a Construction Site? All the major action heroes that make play come alive. Check out Mega Bloks facebook page and on twitter @MegaBloks

Classy & Stylish Good Fortunes @thestep2company

I was approving posts and noticed Tricia post about Good Fortunes and thought I just got a Good Fortune Giant Fortune Cookie. Could she be talking about the same thing? I had my cookie and have not opened it, scratching my head about it's surprise arrival and chalked it up to the orders I'd made from 1-800-Baskets as a thank you or something on the Chinese New Year the day before.

 So busy with appointments I set it aside until her post. As I message Tricia and open the package I read a great fortune from the fortune cookie. I was welcomed to the 2012 Step2 Test Drive Mom Blogger Program!!

Talk about a classy and stylish way to welcome moms & families into their program. Step2 knew how to make this mom smile today. I can't wait to share more Step2 products and information with everyone. Until then have a great weekend.

7 Hours in ER, Really??

After having pain in her arm, it got hot and began swelling. My mom said she thought it may be a blood clot and went to the ER. This was at 2:00 PM and at 4:00 PM I arrived to check on her, sure that she would have seen the Physician by this time. She said no, not yet, I asked her to leave and go to the next county hospital she said "it want be much longer now." I thought maybe not but, I'd already dismiss our small town hospital when my son was an infant and we was put in a room on hold for six hours until the doctor felt like coming in and this was on a very slow night. The county over had us in and out in one hour, they have great time management at that hospital.

9:00 PM she was finally called to an ER Room, this hospital does not have that much action, they just see a patient every 45 mins to my opinion. Thankful she only has cellulitis and not a clot. I've never shared publicly but, my mom has had Lupus for years. She is recovering good and said she will never use this ER again due to their poor time management in the ER.

I was upset to see a very elderly man spend 7 hours in a wheel chair also. This man was around 70 to 80, how sad. His family had left him there and I saw them come in a few hours later. Other patients in the waiting room helped the old man to the bathroom and made the nurse get him a snack.
