Stuffed Green Bell Peppers Recipe

Stuffed Green Bell Peppers 

1 pound ground beef 
1/2 onion 
1 green onion 
2 medium peeled chopped tomatos 
3 tablespoon ketchup 
2 tablespoon Heniz 57 sauce 
1 can tomato soup 
1 cup grated cheese 
1 cup cooked rice 
4 medium bell peppers

Brown ground beef add salt & pepper with 1/2 onion & 1 green onion.


Mix in peeled chopped tomatoes, 3 tablespoon ketchup, 2 tablespoon Heniz 57 sauce, 1 cup cooked rice, 3/4 cup cheese.

Clean & boil 4 medium bell peppers for about 5minutes, drain & add to baking dish.

Added mixture in the peppers, spoon 1 can tomato soup over, & top with the 1/4cup cheese.

Cover with Foil and bake 350 for 45 minutes.

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, dedicated to curing spinal cord injury and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis, is looking for enthusiastic, inspiring and committed people to run in honor of those who cannot. The Foundation has 30 coveted spots available on Team Reeve for the 2012 ING New York City Marathon, taking place on November 4, 2012. Participants are required to raise a minimum of $4,000 for the Foundation.

Sad 10 Bucks A Rabbit

Riding under the red light there was a terrible site to see. A cage full of little rabbits roasting in the hot sun "upper 90's". On the other side there where 3 men sitting in the shade with a fan blowing to keep them cool. I told my mom if their still there when I come back by in 10 minute, I would pull up and move them.

We came back sure enough, maybe the men didn't do it on purpose but, forget the shade of a tree will move after the sun moves. I pulled up and got my son out, we told them we were worried about the rabbits sitting in the hot sun. I asked to move them and I really didn't listen to the answer as we proceed to do just that. I heard the man say we've been wetting them down. Sad! 

Poor little thing was so hot & was shivering. They had water and food, I don't know if the water was cool. The next day I rode by and the rabbits was under a shelter too. Not out in the boiling sun. They knew that they done wrong. I will be watching and this is not the end.

What makes me sad is how long has this been going on? How many people rode right on by and didn't give it another thought? If they did think it was bad why didn't they take 2 minutes to try to fix it?

Kids Garden Time 5 Weeks In

This is the little garden the boys & I started, now after 5 weeks. This past week we are getting a tomato a day from the biggest plant. We have bell peppers the size of 50 cent pieces. The first squash has appeared, after thinking the worst when the blooms fell off. I read some where that sometimes that is the male flower. Either way happy to see that little one. Just got to get the trellis up now. The kids are very excited to help and love to see the new things appearing.
