Beach Table Giveaway

One of my favorite activities include going to the beach with my family. I came across an ideal little beach must have product called the Beach Table.  Immediately, I loved that the velcro straps secure the beach umbrella, sand spike and other beach items to the back of the table for one-hand carrying and convenient storage.
In the photos above, see how you can attach your umbrella. Isn't that the cutest design someone added to their Beach Table. The Beach Table can be used with any beach umbrella or without one. Sand spike included

Beach Tables are patented, and are hand-made in Smithfield, Virginia. Beach Tables make a very attractive beach gift that compliments any beach accessories collection. Guaranteed with instructions, Beach Tables are a highly functional, well built piece of beach gear which have proven over the years to be a solid beach accessories component.

Tuffo Water Resistant Blanket Review & Giveaway

This past week we decided it was time for a beach trip. We couldn't stand it any longer, we packed up our Tuffo Water Resistant Blanket, umbrella, cooler and headed to the beach. We don't like to carry heavy items to the beach. It is a long walk down and the Tuffo Water Resistant Blanket is perfect because it is so light weight. The Tuffo Blanket has a carrying bag with large storage pockets.
This is not the first time we used the Tuffo Water Resistant Blanket, but it was the first time we used it dealing with strong winds. The wind was blowing so hard it broke our umbrella and keep blowing our blanket away. We added the mini drink cooler and drinks on the edge. Other than the strong wind effecting the Tuffo Water Resistant Blanket, it was great and I love the beautiful colors on it. See below how my son enjoyed stretched out on it at home too.
The Tuffo Water Resistant Blanket will certainly come in handy for our fishing trips & camp outs. Interior polyester batting sandwiched between durable water-resistant nylon backing and soft cotton top measuring 54" x 84"

Tuffo also offers Car Organizers, waterproof coveralls aka ( Muddy Buddy), and water proof totes. Tuffo gear is for families on the go. Thanks to Tuffo for sponsoring "The Hotter Than Summer Event " & for giving one reader a Tuffo Water Resistant Blanket.

Beach Buddies Shell Crafts Review & Giveaway

Creativity for Kids has an exciting beach theme arts & crafts kit out called Beach Buddies Shell Crafts. The Beach Buddies Kit was a big hit with my son, as soon as he saw the sea shells & the felt shapes, the flood of excitement rushed in. It reminded him of our trip to the beach.

He loved painting the shells, I think that was his favorite job in the kit. His two favorite shapes were the Sea Horse and the Crab and he loved putting the eyes on the creatures he created. We glued felt piece and shells for fins.

Items included in the Beach Buddies Shell Crafts kit includes:
25+ Real Sea Shells
60+ Ocean Inspired Felt Shapes
Acrylic Paint
Dimensional Paint
Craft Glue
Glitter Glue
Paint Brush
Wiggly Eyes
Instructions And Ideas

"Crazy Mom forgot to use newspaper under the project, so I had a little extra clean up with the paint and glue. I did remember to put old shirts on us before painting."

We had a great time on this rainy afternoon with the Beach Buddies and we remembered our trips to the beach. Creativity for Kids always have great craft projects and this is one of them.

"May to Play" Out of the Blue

Mid-Week we got a wild urge. No planning at all grab some clothes, packed up toys, and got in the car. We head out for a 2hr drive to the beach with the kids 10:30 am, no planning. It was the boys first time to see the beach and our first official trip of a family of four.

We had such a wonderful time looking for shells, splashing in the water, and building a sandcastle. Little Matt loves to demolish sandcastles so it's a wonder we even got one half way together. After we left the beach we had a picnic at the park area and meet the squirrels. All I can say this was another perfect event, they ran up and begged for cookies, we ran out of cookies so they ate nut from the Snickers Bars. It's true squirrels love Snickers and CC loved feeding them.

So then we did a little site seeing before we headed home. We had the beach to our selves mid week and everyone still in school and at work. It was like we had our own personal beach, oh and did I mention we were on an Island. OH YEAH!
