Rothschild Jacket Giveaway & Review

 Going to school early in the morning my son replies I can't take this cold freezing weather. When he said that, we wasn't even getting a hard frost on the ground. I told him it is only going to get colder. I thought about the hooded insulated jackets I'd seen from Rothschild and thought that might help.

The Rothschild Captain of the Team Active Jacket arrived. Immediately the zipper attached/un-attachable hood with mix of poly fleece and nylon lining stood out, I can make him cover his ears with extra velcro close. Since school started he's had recurrent ear infections. Zipper up jacket and button close with nylon lining helps make it wind resistant and light weight. Light weight is important for 4 yrs or they feel confined and my son does not like feel hindered.

We review the Navy Rothschild Captain of the Team Active Jacket and it has print & patch on the arms. One front top zipper pocket and two large pockets at the bottom. It also has one hidden pocket inside and this jacket is machine washable. Just a note that the black Captain of the Team Jacket has a few different features than the Navy if you choose that color style.

Halloween 2011

We have hyper sugared up kids, do you? I feel like I have a hangover..
This weekend at the community Halloween Party my sons had a blast. My 4yr old son stood on the stage and sung ABC's in front of everyone there. He's not shy a bit. Got a cake on my first walk at the cake walk. School Costume Parade Halloween day. His costume got tons of comments and he was so proud of it.

Their costumes Bad to the Bone & John Deere Man with a John Deere Tractor. The tractor was built with boxes, duct tape, paint, hot glue, tap lights, duck brand insulation for pipe and poster board. We made the steering with a clothes hanger then it with duct tape and covered with black electric tape. Completed with John Deere boots and clothes.

School Coupons + Newbie School Mom

I'm a Newbie School Mom this year. School starts here tomorrow!!. I'm feeling a mix of emotions happy and sad. I'm happy my son will interact with his peers, experience new thing, learn, play, etc. I'm sad because it's the first step out of the nest, not to mention we have never been separated for that long.

This is my first year school shopping and school clothes & supplies really can knock you off budget. Classroom supplies list can be jaw dropping. I've been full force school shopping and now we are waiting on the big day. I'm more nervous than my son. Friday, we meet the teacher and he loved the classroom and playing with other children. Soft Clothing for all Children Review & Giveaway

Happy Feet (Soft Slippers)

Keeping feet happy and cozy from the cool winter frost is fun when you are wearing Happy Feet Slippers. Happy Feet, are the cutest slippers with favorite teams and animals inspired designs. A perfect gift for all ages and styles to suit everyone.

I know my son especially loves them and thinks they are so cool. Let me tell you my first impression out of the box, "they are going to be too big." I order a small according to his foot size, but I thought I had made the mistake ordering a size to big. No mistake and they fit. It was all the cushion in them. I like that they fit snug around his feet with room to grow in size. The pair we reviewed has a shoe string on the front. It is sewn in but, them you have to tie it.

Happy Feet slippers soles are thick with padding and then the tops are plush and very soft. I wondered if he could walk easily with them and he did, so that means the did not affect his ability to walk. The thickness is a plus in the cold winter months to keep feet toasty and warm. They bring cheer and a taste of personality to the recipient and would bring big smiles to someone if you had them under the tree this year.

Crazy Dog T-Shirts Giveaway

I had such a wonderful communication and experience with Crazy Dog T-Shirts. I had questions about shirt sizes. I really was hoping they had it in child size, but did not. The actual shirt is the Curious George "Love is Bananas" Shirt, now if you read my site regular you know why this shirt out of all the wonderful selection.

So we discussed sizing and this tee runs in Juniors sizing (it was also on the information on the site." So I thought well I'll take a chance and get the smallest they had, size small. I was really impressed at the communications and service.
