It's A First

It's been a month since my son 1st Birthday and I realized I have not shared photos. Bad, Bad Mom!! It's A First Birthday!!

I really didn't plan a big party, just invited the grandparents over & kept it simple. I purchase a ready made cake & in the arts & crafts section found these cute little foam animal kit to decorate the cake. My older son had fun helping make them.

We had a nice little party!!

Act Your Size!

Sometime people look at my 3 year showing out and think he is older, wrong he is just big for his size. So mind your business he is acting his age..

Wearing size 5/6 clothing now, I believe my son will be tall. He always been big in size. I have tall people in my family and I got left out @ 5 Foot 1. My husband is 5 Foot 10 and has tall people in his family. I'm so jealous of tall people, until they hit their head.

I visited the Baby Center Child Height Predictor. According to the results my son will be 6 Foot 2. My cousin is 6 foot 5, so not so far fetch.

My other little one, he is pretty much right on track with sizes so, I'm not sure about him. Can't never tell he could pass his brother.

Sum It Up! BUSY

I've had a very busy weekend & Monday! To sum it all up:
*A New Automobile
*Theme Park
*Birthday Party
*Labor

First the new automobile = I was surprised by my uncle and aunt (AKA second dad & mom.) They had been to an auction and bought me a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. I'm still in shock!! So far I've drove it once and love the space, but I really think it's to big for me and drinks to much gas (18 MPG HWY):(. I'm used to my 2006 Kia Rio no space but gets (38 MPG HWY):). Since it came from the auction we are weary of it, it need a right blinker bulb and cd player in it. We took it to the Ford Shop to have it checked out, waiting to see what they have to say..


If anyone owns one of these let me know your thoughts about this vehicle, so far I readed this type of transmission, kept going out in this model. Plus you have to add transmission fluid under the automobile on this model. I had an old car for errands, but with no air condition in it. So I usually put things off so I could use the Kia when my husband returned from work, now I will not heat to death or have to wait.

Theme Park = My mom and I carried the kids to a theme park on Saturday, my husband could not get off work, so he missed out. Pretty good ride about and hour and half to two hours there. The babies had a blast!! It was so hot and we spent a lot of time in the water park, didn't get pics there. It was all I could do to keep up with my son he was like a wild squirrel in a nut shop. Didn't want to wet my camera either. My mom watch the little one in the baby area.



We did get to view the animals and rode the tour train. We rode the rides and video taped them. Wish I'd taken more wildlife photos, but it was just so hot. I also wore my crocs, had them for a year always comfortable until this particular day. Less than 1 hour there I had a blister on the back of my heel. I found a booth with scissors and cut the back off of them. Finally relief!! I've had them a whole year and they we always comfy, and then they went bad...Next morning my son woke up first words, "It's a beautiful day momma ready to go back to the park."

Finally, nice little lazy birthday party for 9 year old cousin. Everyone having cake and talking. My cousin pregnant wife sitting there and my aunt and I are there her our pregnancy stories. All of a sudden she stand up and begins hurting bad in her stomach and back. Everyone is up in a flash and she was whisk to the hospital. She is 3 Days til being 36 weeks (way to early), she was sent home.

Beach Buddies Shell Crafts Review & Giveaway

Creativity for Kids has an exciting beach theme arts & crafts kit out called Beach Buddies Shell Crafts. The Beach Buddies Kit was a big hit with my son, as soon as he saw the sea shells & the felt shapes, the flood of excitement rushed in. It reminded him of our trip to the beach.

Did you just get home from vacation with fantastic memories and photos. I can tell you the best way to preserve your memories. AdoramaPix Photo Books is the answer to store all those special memories in one place. Add special effects to photos, borders, design elements.

The AdoramaPix Photo Book arrived and I looked through the pages to find the thickness in the pages a nice feature. Women In The Boat #7

I love to fish at the river, but you know there are no stalls to hid you when nature calls. Men don't have it as hard as women, and no one has it harder than a pregnant women on the water when nature calls. You getting the picture??

Can you pull to the bank so I can get out, I've got to go. Pregnancy = bathroom breaks times 5. Hurry just let me out. I climb out of the boat and I step, and the ground sinks in. Up to my knees, deep like quick sand. A trickle of green is coming from the bank, what had I gotten myself into. Cussing my husband, I made it out of the muck and took care of business. Pieces of jars, tires, hairbrushes, metal filled the cliff. OMG!!! I got out at the dump and guess what the company that dealt with acid, cyanide, and other chemical had contaminated that very area too. So people treated it as the dump years back.

UMMMM!! Green run off. The company had be fined years earlier and shut down, and moved over seas. Watch I may turn in to the Incredible Hulk Women. No seriously, it was terrible and I think there should have been more clean up effort in this area.

More on this later, but back to toilet and a boat. Later on, at gator ally I have to go again. I finally build my courage to go, and here comes some men in another boat. My butt shining, I don't think they saw. No I was ducking and moving fast.. My husband thinks I'm hard to handle in a boat, but he says I'm his best fishing partner. He better say that!!

Crazy Dog T-Shirts Giveaway

I had such a wonderful communication and experience with Crazy Dog T-Shirts. I had questions about shirt sizes. I really was hoping they had it in child size, but did not. The actual shirt is the Curious George "Love is Bananas" Shirt, now if you read my site regular you know why this shirt out of all the wonderful selection.

So we discussed sizing and this tee runs in Juniors sizing (it was also on the information on the site." So I thought well I'll take a chance and get the smallest they had, size small. I was really impressed at the communications and service.

My son wears a 5/6 boys. It fits!! It's going to work with a minor cut and sewing job, being that it was way to long for him. A quick hem and he was ready to head to the Curious George Live Show. I want to thank Crazy Dog T-Shirts, my son arrived unique, in style, and one super happy boy.

Shopping Spree & Iron Man

Ever so often my husband likes to go shopping "SO RARE". So yesterday, he says you want us to go shopping? So we head to town, I need to pick up a Birthday Cake too. We have a 1 year old!!!

We are in the store and I'm looking at a shirt, my sons don't mess with that it's for girls. I say "well what am I?" He says "that a tooth fairy shirt, your not a tooth fairy." My husband comes by laughing. Fashion tips from my 3yr old.

Found my son a nice pair of dress shoes on sale for $3.00, oh yeah! Love that! Husband found 2 pair on sale $10.00 each. We had a great day hanging out.

My 3 year old son turned into a major Iron Man fan. We had a major potty training set back when the baby was born, we had to start over. So Iron Man helped us Potty Training. Thank you Iron Man, he is a big boy now.
